I had that issue as well ..my parents returned to US after 3 months and got a lot of questions. I don't think POE will deport your parents.

My friends mom had a issues, She was here 6 months and came back after 6 months . POE officer took her for inspection and called my friend and asked lot of question , gave the warning saying 'Visiting visa is for just visting not to stay in US'....

My wife is on a H4 visa. Her visa is going to expire june 2010... she has to go to India later this month on a very urgent work....
So is it advisable to go considering the scrutiny at port of entry nowadays ???

I was wondering what are the benefits of EAD to primary(H1B) applicant before 180 days, i understand that AC21 & it's benefits can be invoked after 180 days from receipt date.
But is there any benefit of having EAD if 180 days from 485 receipt date are not over ?

My current H1 expires on the 30th of September 2007. I have applied for H1 extension under premium processing and it is pending.
My Query is:
Can I work after my H1 expires on the 30th and my H1 extension is still pending? i.e. continue working based on a pending H1 application? If so, for how long?

The court is saying that since this is a non-binding memo; the court does not need to judge whether or not the USCIS definition of an employer employee relationship is valid or not.
It just means that H1B petitions that have denied based on the 'control' issue can be appealed presumably. But this might only be an option for large IT companies; which is probably what the USCIS knew and planned for all along. I think the goal of the USCIS is to apply this memo selectively against the smaller Desi consultancies.

I got my receipt number for H1b application and its been more than a week but i still cannot check my status online on USCIS website.
It says case is not found ,even tried calling customer service .
Does it take time to get uploaded online ?
Did anyone else face this problem

Mmmm, doesn't have a lot of stumpiness. I mean. I can see the stump, and there's nice light, but the bottom of the stump is dark, and the shape isn't defined as a stump. I think a different wider angle making the stump more obvious in it's surreoundings, or a tighter shot for an abstract pattern/texture might have worked better. I can see why you composed it as you did, there's nice light/dark balance overall, but there is no particular focal point for the eye and that leaves you sort of wandering when you look at it. My opinion, your mileage may vary...

Please meet the lawyers and get their opinion. If all of them say the same thing, then that is the option. If they have differing opinion, then check back via immigration forums.
